Monday in Bangkok!
The day started out heading into one of the slum communities that Our Home Chapel, the Foursquare denomination's church in Bangkok, Thailand is reaching into.
The area is a large chunk of land owned by a single man, who leases out small plots to individual families. People who can afford the lease are able to erect their homes on the piece of land that they've been able to obtain. The price is quite low and many low income families have taken advantage of the availability. But inside the communitiy the opportunities to educate the children are slim at best.
Our Home Chapel seeks out children who have not been enrolled in any school system and helps to educate them through their foundation.
The New Hope Diamond Head Thailand Mission Impact team is attempting to bolster the aspirations of the church in their efforts to survey the slum area and find the children who presently have no chance at even the slightest of educational opportunities.
